College Football Playoff Szn!!!
Good afternoon sweet followers! It’s Bowl Szn, mostly, other than all the ones that got cancelled, and out of the FORTY TWO BOWLS (too many imho! Not everyone needs to be in a bowl! Except we WILL be keeping the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl, that’s hilarious), two of them ACTUALLY matter, and we’re watching them! First Quarter Takes: Mask compliance at this INDOOR GAME is…slim! We don’t love to see that! Ok so the bad news is Alabama did come out and score right away, and then we were like ok Cinci you have to score because a KEY with bama is that they run away with the game fam! Cincy didn’t score, they got a field goal. Not bad, but not great. On bama’s second posession, it was PENALTY CITY BABY on the evil crimsons, which we love! OH NO A MAN BRYCE YOUNG DID A SNEAKY RUN TO THE SIDE THIS IS WHAT WE ARE ALWAYS SAYING PEOPLE TO DO BUT NOW ALABAMA HAS DONE IT FUCK NOW THEY GUNNA SCORE FUQQQQ
Second Quarter Takes: Good news mostly thanks to penalties bama didn’t score they just got a field goal. BETTER NEWS they played the Phantom of the Opera theme? and Carmina Burana?We LOVE that. Cincy has been forced to punt on SEVERAL POSSESSIONS. Fam that is not going to win you this game! SCORE MORE POINTS! Alabama still has the ball. Every time I look up Alabama has the GD ball. Ok breaking news! They held them to a FG again and then they MISSED! Then Cincy did another punt (bad! score points!) and ALABAMA MISSED THE PUNT AND RECOVERED IT but did an EGREGIOUS foul so! Then this dude did a 44yd reception for a bama touchdown…..very bad. Things are bad. This Cincy QB needs to slap his line upside the head because he has been sacked THREE TIMES including leading into the half. They have done NOTHING ON OFFENSE.
Third Quarter Takes:
Cincinnati coach came out of the locker room saying “this is gonna be a battle”. Not a great sign when your COACH is admitting that. The main problem we’re seeing here is not CONVERTING on third and fourth downs. Alabama is GONNA score clearly and tbh the Cincy defense not doing TERRIBLE but really, we gotta be scoring more points here. OK MAYBE A CHANCE key Bama receiver Jameson Williams in the medical tent QUESTIONABLE to return.He’s in a sling!! cincy may still be in this! Nope jk jk appears that was some sort of ruse, he’s back on the field, starting to think it may be over for these hoes (these hoes being Cincy)
Fourth Quarter Takes:
This Cincy qb got sacked again (6th time!), and we’re in and out making apps for tonight’s (COVID-friendly) NYE party (by “party” i mean, us two and Elena’s bf) so I’m calling it for Bama. This is kinda sad for Cincy because they were all excited to be the first non - Power5 conference in the playoffs since this iteration began in 2014, but given this performance, I’m kinda starting to see why that’s been the case.

Folks I know us saying this is rigged is getting old, but this is truly rigged. Everyone has been saying this is Georgia’s championship to lose, but Michigan is not a bad team and they ARE GETTING STOMPED ON. Come ON. Ok we are fed up with this, we are switching to watching a Cary Grant movie, we do not need to bring this energy into 2022!
